It's March 2010 (or is it pronounced 2010?) already? Wow. And as usual, I am horrible when it comes to updating my blog. Well, what has happened since the Saints won the Super Bowl, and we saw more black and gold during Mardi Gras than any other color? Well for starters:
Meet Meche baby number two. If you're a Facebook friend you probably know this already, but we're pregnant! The picture was taken on February 9, but we'll be going in to find out the sex in a few weeks. I'll be updating with a name and gender.
Our good friend, Holly, has been helping us for the last week with getting our apartment organized. When we moved to Bourbon St., we tried to get rid of anything that was unnecessary. Unfortunately, our bare essentials do not fit in the apartment, at least not out of the box. Holly had some great ideas for organizing and decorating our place, and her implementation has been wonderful. When the project is done, I will be posting up some pictures. It amazes me how God makes people so different from one another. Holly can just walk into a place and see it finished.
We're in the middle of our LIFE series at Vintage. It's been a wild ride, and my heart has been continually pricked as I have compared the life of John Meche to the life of Christ. With every week, I grow more thankful for the grace shown to me on the cross, more worshipful of the God who would save me though I am a wretch, and more desirous to see the life shown to me in Jesus lived out by me in the power of the Holy Spirit.
